Slab and slinger, Den Bosch (Netherlands)

This housing project is composed from two elements. The high tower is a ‘focal point’ to mark the waterfront of the lake, and the entrance route to the city. The lower volume is the second element which reacts on the direct surrounding of the location. The composition of those two elements creates two inner courts which connect the project to the existing elements on the site such as the swimming pool, grove, canal and lake. The project contains different typologies of dwellings in order to attract diverse households and create a rich social structure.
